Facade scaffolding
Lightweight, stable and efficient access systems for facade work on industrial and commercial buildings across the UK.

System overview
SPEEDYSCAF light scaffolding
With the lightweight assembly frame Speedy Lightweight facade scaffolding, Layher SpeedyScaf equipment has been a recognised leader in frame systems for decades. It is modern, fast and robust, making it ideal for facade works.
Thanks to its versatile and well thought out selection of parts, the system is economical to use both in scaffolding applications and across wider professional access works.

Efficiency
Fast & Simple
With only six basic elements and a small number of manual operations, this logical and safe scaffolding system is fast to assemble because it is built without bolts.
Expansion parts allow effective adaptation to existing building geometries without major extra effort during assembly. SpeedyScaf is available in different scaffolding widths, can be supplied in hot-dip galvanised steel or lightweight aluminium, and is suitable for a wide range of applications.
The robust platform consists of an aluminium frame with riveted steel corners and a plywood deck protected against rot.

Adaptability
Brackets
The SpeedyScaf can be quickly extended inwards or outwards. Brackets are fixed using the welded half-coupling in the corner plate or in the corner areas with swivel brackets.
Using the pin on the Speedy mounting frame Lightweight, a platform level can be created equal to the main scaffolding, giving a practical and consistent working area.

Platform
Robust cover
The robust platform consists of an aluminium frame with riveted steel corners inserted with a plywood sheet that is protected against rot.
- Available in lengths from 0.73 m to 3.07 m
- Available in a width of 0.61 m
- Suitable for use up to load class 3
- Quick assembly because the platform is supplied in one piece
- Integrated with Allround and SpeedyScaf systems

Access
Access to stairs
The aluminium platform and integrated stair access provide increased safety, convenience and speed when climbing the tower. Transport of materials is also made easier by using the work platforms as practical walkways.
In accordance with the relevant access regulations, stairs should be used where extensive work must be carried out, where the rise height in the scaffolding exceeds 10 m, or where larger quantities of materials must be transported.
The platform type staircase is connected to the main scaffolding by means of the connector system, creating reliable internal access between levels.

Stability
Anchorage
The scaffolding must be anchored vertically and parallel to the facade, with resistance to both tensile and compressive loads. Layher provides faster and safer anchorage solutions for this purpose.
Wall-mounted anchorage can be attached within the corner plate area of the Speedy mounting frame Lightweight and supported appropriately on the channel section of the mounting frame.
This helps maintain a stable scaffold structure while supporting safe facade access throughout the working height.
